Sensex plunged by more than 500 points during the session on Monday to slip to 83,043 points, against the session's high of 83,617. The index opened lower at 83,435. The realty sector fell by 2.32%, and the BSE Capital Goods fell by 2.13%. Adani Ports, Reliance, and Eternal are among the top losers of the day.
