Sensex on Monday plunged by 872 points to close at 58,773, whereas the Nifty was down 267 points to settle below 17,500, marking the second consecutive decline for the benchmark indices. Shares of ITC, Coal India, Tata Consumer Products, Nestle India and Britannia Industries were among top Nifty gainers. Meanwhile, Tata Steel, Asian Paints, Adani Ports were among major losers.
