Sensex dipped nearly 2,200 points in just five trading sessions this week, bringing its value below 83,600. NTPC, ICICI Bank, Adani Ports and Bharti Airtel led the over 600-point dip of Sensex on Friday, while for Nifty, Adani Enterprises and Jio Financial Services were the top losers. In one week, Sensex has eroded investor wealth worth ₹13.5 lakh crore.
