Following the Badagundi tragedy, where a man killed his pregnant wife and then died by suicide, the victim’s sister, Sujatha (40), filed a complaint at Bantwal Rural Police Station under Section 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for the alleged murder. Separately, the man’s elder brother, Vishwanath (55), registered an unnatural death report under Section 194 of the BNS.
