Serbia is preparing a lawsuit against NATO over its alleged use of depleted Uranium munitions during its three-month bombing of Yugoslavia 18 years ago during the Kosovo War. Adding the bombings caused an environmental catastrophe and increased cancer-related illnesses across the region over the years, lawyers claimed that 33,000 people fall sick every year due to the environmental effects.
