Michael Thomas Gargiulo, a 45-year-old serial killer who stabbed actor Ashton Kutcher's then-girlfriend Ashley Ellerin 47 times in Los Angeles in 2001, has been sentenced to death. Gargiulo, called 'Hollywood Ripper' and 'The Boy Next Door Killer', received the sentence for killing Ashley in 2001, a 32-year-old woman in 2005 and for attempting murder of another woman in 2008.
