Serial mobile thief held for stealing phones from homes

Pandikkad police arrested 44-year-old Cherumala Shamsudheen for allegedly stealing mobile phones from homes in Kuttipuli during the daytime. Police said he targeted homes occupied by elderly people and housewives, gained their trust and stole phones when they were alone. Shamsudheen also faces several other cases, and police are probing his possible involvement in similar thefts.
