At least seven people have died in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh due to intense cold weather. Normal life continued to remain affected in the city reportedly due to snowfall at higher reaches. Notably, the authorities have also advised people to be on high alert due to the danger of avalanches in snow line areas of the state's tribal districts.
