Several detained during protest against CEC at Jantar Mantar, Mahua joins agitation

Delhi Police detained several protesters seeking the arrest and resignation of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar during a protest at Jantar Mantar on Friday. Lok Sabha MP from the Mamata-led faction of the TMC, Mahua Moitra, also joined the agitation against Kumar. The protests follow reports of differences among Election Commission members over the SIR of electoral rolls.
