Several parts of Mumbai received rainfall on Sunday as city's water reserves fell to 9%, raising concerns over supply amid delayed monsoon replenishment. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said conditions remain favourable for the monsoon to advance into more parts of Maharashtra around June 23. Earlier this week, IMD indicated that Mumbai's monsoon onset is now likely around June 25.
