The Northeast Chapter of the Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of India held its first annual conference in Shillong. It drew 18 national experts and nearly 200 delegates. Led by Dr Rangksan Singh Thangkhiew, the meeting highlighted advanced therapeutic endoscopy and stressed expanding world-class GI services within the region.
