Matrimonial site Shaadi.com has lost a case against rival Secondshaadi.com, where the former wanted the latter to take down 'Shaadi' from its domain name. A matrimonial portal focused at widowed people and divorcees, Secondshaadi.com was launched after Shaadi.com. The court said that the word 'Shaadi' is generic and Shaadi.com cannot stop others from using the word in their domain name.
