The US has condoled the death of an American citizen who was shot dead in a Pakistan courtroom. Tahir Ahmad Naseem was on trial for blasphemy. "We urge Pakistan to take immediate action and pursue reforms that will prevent such a shameful tragedy from happening again," the US State Department said. The police arrested the assailant from the courtroom.
