India pacer Mohammad Shami on Thursday created history by taking the most number of wickets in men's ICC tournaments (Champions Trophy, ODI World Cup and T20 World Cup) among Indians. Shami, who registered figures of 10-0-53-5 in India's Champions Trophy 2025 opener against Bangladesh, has now taken 74 wickets in ICC tournaments. He overtook Zaheer Khan's tally of 71 wickets.
