Authorities in China's Shanghai on Saturday announced that the measure under which residents need to undergo weekly COVID-19 testing has been extended till the end of September. Individuals without a record of a nucleic acid test in the past seven days would be assigned a yellow code on Shanghai's health code system. A yellow code limits access to public places.
