The 83-year-old NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar said he may not contest elections after his Rajya Sabha term ends in 18 months. "I'm not in power....I'll have to stop somewhere," he added. His remarks came ahead of the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Pawar, who is known as the 'grand old man' of Maharashtra politics, founded the NCP in 1999.
