Regional language social media platform ShareChat has acquired hyperlocal information platform Circle Internet for an undisclosed sum. Bengaluru-based Circle Internet provides local news in regional languages across Rajasthan, Kerala and Uttar Pradesh. "The acquisition will help us...serve the latent content needs of the next billion internet users more effectively," said a ShareChat official.
