Sharks have 'sixth sense' that is tuned to attack: Study

Sharks are equipped with an electro-sensing organ that allows them to detect the slightest disturbances from nearby prey amid background noises, according to a US-based study. Scientists compared their "sixth sense" to a superhuman who would perceive whispers as blaring horns. Their electro-sensory system is tuned to react suddenly, which triggers them to attack on any changes, said researchers.
