In what was the world's first study of shark's personality traits, Macquarie University researchers in Australia have observed the presence of individual personality differences in Port Jackson sharks. The study found that sharks have distinct and consistent responses when exposed to unfamiliar conditions. Sharks are one of nearly 200 animal species to have demonstrated individual personality.
