Actress-MP Kangana Ranaut defended law student Sharmishta Panoli after the latter's arrest over a video, saying, "I agree [she] used some unpleasant words...but such words most youngsters use these days." Kangana added, "She apologised for her statements and that should be enough, no need to bully or harass her further." The BJP MP called for Panoli's immediate release.
