Poonam Sinha, the wife of actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha, filed her nomination papers for the Lok Sabha elections from the Lucknow parliamentary constituency on Thursday. Poonam, who had joined Samajwadi Party on Tuesday, is contesting against BJP leader Rajnath Singh and Congress' Acharya Pramod Krishnam. Her husband Shatrughan had recently left the BJP to join Congress.
