Apple-owned music recognition app Shazam for Android can now recognise music played via users' headphones. As part of its Android-only 'Pop-Up Shazam' feature, users can use Shazam to identify songs in third-party apps, playing externally or internally, without leaving them, by activating a floating button that is overlaid on the screen. It can be activated via Settings in Shazam app.
