The friend of Odisha student who self-immolated over inaction on her sexual harassment complaint against professor, said she got a call informing them that the student had been provoked to undergo an "agni pariksha". "I use this term because I believe the principal must have said something that deeply hurt her. She was completely broken," the friend stated.
