Shimla hosts international conference on Himalayan heritage
A three-day international conference at Himachal Pradesh State Museum in Shimla brought together 34 scholars from India, Afghanistan, Nepal, and Germany to discuss Himalayan history, archaeology, and heritage conservation. Around 40 papers were selected from nearly 600 submissions, covering archaeology, anthropology, and cultural practices across the broader Himalayan region.
