Shimla hotels cancelled weddings and events as sales and refilling of commercial LPG cylinders were halted by OMCs (Oil Marketing Companies). Mohinder Seth, Shimla Hotel and Tourism Stakeholders Association's President, said, "We've requested authorities to provide...rationed cylinders so hotels can serve basic food to tourists." He added that the tourism industry could collapse without support.
