Shimla SP Sanjeev Kumar Gandhi accused the state's Director General of Police (DGP) Atul Verma of "misusing his power" during the investigation of Chief Engineer Vimal Negi death case. "It is very surprising that he wanted the investigation to be done by an officer of his choice," SP alleged. He also accused DGP of pressuring subordinates to file false report.
