Ships can't cross Hormuz without permission, insurance fees: Iran

The Strait of Hormuz has reopened, but Iran said ships cannot cross without its permission. All vessels passing through the strait must obtain a mandatory insurance policy, which is currently free but may involve charges in the future, according to reports. Iran also said ships must follow a designated route along its coast, while alternative routes are prohibited, it added.
