Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Pradeep Purnekar shot dead in Thane

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Pradeep Purnekar, was shot dead by some unidentified persons on Tuesday night in Thane. "The accused were wearing a mask and fled from the spot. We are scanning CCTV cameras to track them down," a police officer said. Police are examining CCTV footage and probing possible motives, including political rivalry and personal enmity.
