Actor Nitish Bharadwaj said he feels ashamed to call himself a "purush" (man) after the rape-murder of a doctor in Kolkata and sexual assault of minors in Badlapur. "Bring back stronger punishments like in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's laws...Shivaji Maharaj once cut off the hands and limbs of a rapist. Such demons don't deserve mercy and democratic merciful laws," he said.
