Defending champions KKR have been dealt a major setback as Rovman Powell has opted out of the remainder of IPL 2025 due to medical reasons. In his place, the Ajinkya Rahane-led side has roped in Madhya Pradesh mystery spinner Shivam Shukla. The 29-year-old has played only one season of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, where he finished with eight wickets.
