Shoaib Bashir's poor form in the 2025 County Championship continued as he dropped to the bottom of the Division Two bowling averages. In the third match of the season against Middlesex, Bashir returned figures of 0 for 85 in 21 overs. So far, he has taken just two wickets for 304 runs this season, with an average of 152 — the worst in Division Two.
