Supreme Court expressed shock after an Allahabad High Court judge treated a civil dispute as a criminal case, on the ground that civil recovery could take time. Calling it "most erroneous" order, the SC directed that the judge be stripped of all criminal jurisdiction for his remaining tenure and be made to sit with a senior judge in division bench.
