Shopify has introduced a 'Meeting Cost Calculator' to cut down on 'pointless' meetings by showing employees how much their meetings cost to the company. The cost of their meetings is calculated by using data based on average compensation, number of attendees and length of meetings. An average 30-minute meeting with three employees costs between $700 and $1,600 (over ₹1,31,000).
