Shopkeepers in Delhi-NCR put up 'cash only' posters as govt announces UPI charges
Several Delhi-NCR shopkeepers are putting up 'cash only' posters after the government announced charges on select UPI payments above ₹2,000. NDTV reported that traders in Ghaziabad are putting up posters saying 'UPI Payment won't be accepted' to protest the charges. Some traders and fuel pumps in Delhi's Kashmere Gate and Greater Noida are also refusing UPI payments, India TV reported.
