A US federal judge has dismissed a shoplifter extortion case filed against US retail giant Walmart and six other retailers as no conclusive proof was found. The lawsuit alleged the retailers forced the accused shoplifters to take expensive "restorative justice classes" or be reported to the police. The lawsuit's three plaintiffs were accused of shoplifting at Walmart stores in 2017.
