Shots were fired at a statue of late singer Sidhu Moosewala in Haryana's Dabwali recently. His mother Charan Kaur called it an attack on his memory and a "wound to our soul". The statue was installed last year by JJP state president Digvijay Chautala. A video of the shooting was sent to Chautala from an international number on July 29.
