Gunshots were fired outside the house of a doctor at the Mota Singh Nagar locality in Jalandhar on Saturday evening. Notably, this was the second such incident reported in the city within 24 hours. Seven to eight gunshots were fired outside the house of a veterinarian at the Santokhpura locality in the wee hours of Saturday.
