Shreyas Iyer will return as Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain for IPL 2024 after missing the 2023 season with a back injury. Nitish Rana, who was KKR's stand-in captain last season, has been named vice-captain for IPL 2024. KKR finished seventh on the IPL 2023 points table after winning six matches.
