Shubman Gill becomes first Indian to score 400 runs in a single Test

India skipper Shubman Gill became the first Indian to score 400 runs in a single Test, achieving the feat after crossing 131 in second innings of Edgbaston Test against England. He had scored 269(387) in first innings. Sunil Gavaskar's 344 against West Indies in 1971 Port of Spain Test was the previous highest aggregate in a Test by an Indian.
