India captain Shubman Gill was stretchered into an ambulance with his neck immobilised and admitted to Woodlands Hospital in Kolkata on Saturday. Gill was seen being taken away with his neck secured in a cervical collar. He was hospitalised hours after retiring hurt during India's first innings on Day 2 of the first Test against South Africa at Eden Gardens.
