Both SIDBI and NSIC are set to back Sorin Investment, a startup fund led by former KKR India head Sanjay Nayar and Angad Banga. According to some reports, Sorin will close its maiden fund at INR 1,300 Cr as it raised INR 1,000 Cr in August from KKR & Co associates, including Henry Kravis and George Roberts.
