Siddhivinayak Temple orders audit amid Raj Thackeray's ₹18 cr theft claim
The Siddhivinayak Temple Trust ordered an audit after MNS chief Raj Thackeray alleged donations worth ₹18 crore were stolen annually from the temple. Thackeray said a letter written by the temple's trustees informed CM Eknath Shinde of the theft and said nine employees were caught. The letter reportedly said weekly donations rose by ₹1 crore after the accused were caught.
