Siemens has expanded its OSAT Alliance with the addition of Mosaic Microsystems and NHanced Semiconductors to strengthen US semiconductor manufacturing. The alliance supports domestic chip packaging by helping companies create standard design kits using Siemens EDA tools. Mosaic will focus on thin glass substrates, while NHanced will develop silicon interposer technologies.
