A Siemens-led consortium has won a ₹4,100 cr contract for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project. Siemens share rose 2.46 percent after the announcement. Siemens will deliver ETCS Level 2 signalling for 350 km/h speeds and provide 15 years of maintenance. The contract aligns with the National Rail Plan 2030 and India focus on high-speed rail infrastructure.
