Silver crosses ₹2.5 lakh per kg for 1st time on MCX
Silver prices crossed ₹2.5 lakh per kg for the first time ever in the Indian futures market on Monday. As per MCX website, silver futures with March 2026 expiry jumped over 5% to peak at ₹2,54,174 per kg. The rally was also seen in the international market as spot silver crossed $80 per ounce for the first time.
