Silver ETFs fall 4%, gold dips 2% amid strengthening dollar

Silver ETFs fell by over 4% while gold ETFs recorded over 2% losses on Thursday. Expectations of higher US interest rates and strengthening of US dollar, which reduce the appeal of precious metals as safe-haven assets, primarily caused the decline. Nippon India Silver ETF fell as much as 3.99% to ₹202.58, while SBI Gold ETF dropped over 2.8% to ₹118.06.
