Metabolic Syndrome (MetS) is a group of health problems that happen together. These include a big waist size, high blood pressure, high blood sugar, and abnormal cholesterol levels. A major study from Korea found that five habits—eating well, limiting alcohol, avoiding smoking, getting enough sleep, and staying active can cut the risk of metabolic syndrome.
