Singapore bans on-boarding of high-risk passengers from Jan 2026

From 30 January 2026, Singapore will enforce a stricter no-boarding directive requiring airlines to stop travellers without valid documents from boarding. The ICA will issue notices, collect advance passenger data, and flag individuals for tighter checks. Non-compliance may lead to fines or imprisonment for airlines and staff, reinforcing Singapore's push for stronger pre-arrival control.
