Singapore leaders condemn online racist remarks against Indians
Singapore PM Lawrence Wong, Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong, and Home Minister Shanmugam condemned racist online comments targeting Indians, triggered by Nepal-Tibet floods and Singapore Airlines-Air India partnership. Shanmugam said police are investigating the remarks, calling them "shameful and unacceptable," and noted overseas accounts are fuelling racism in the multiracial city-state.
