Singapore Telecommunications (Singtel) sold around 1.2% of its stake in Bharti Airtel for $1.54 billion. Singtel, which is Airtel's investor for over 2 decades, has been selling its shares, including the 3.3% stake to Bharti Telecom in 2022 and 0.8% to GQG Partners in 2024. Singtel currently holds around a 28.3% stake in Airtel, valued at nearly $37 billion.
